Through your career you were either an internal marketer and worked up through the ranks or you came from the agency (B2B) world and developed your career as an Account Manager. You have proven experience in either growing organisational revenue as an internal marketer, or helping drive client success as an account manager. You love working on lead acquisition and nurture campaigns. You take pride in being a commercial marketer or account manager. You work diligently to help customers succeed and put customer priorities first. You must bring a growth mindset to Resonate and you must be completely committed to helping generate leads that convert to profitable revenue. You’re constantly thinking of ways to increase engagement metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, replies and desired actions. You have the technical and business skills that allow you to plan and iterate campaigns to achieve the best possible results.
Although we are housed at 2 Park Street (Citibank Building) above Town Hall station. We have our own corner office with views of the Queen Victoria Building, and access to unlimited seats in a business lounge with views of Darling Harbour. This is a Remote Work role, so you can work from the comfort of your home office…but you are also welcome to join us at our corporate office in the Sydney CBD if you would like to work from the office now and then. We believe in a modern workplace: we provide a workplace which is not defined by a physical office.

This role (Account Manager) reports into our CMO and the CEO. You will work closely with the two directors (CMO and CEO). You will also have coordinating relationships with our internal team, our contractors, the external team and the sub-agencies to help our clients drive leads, drive revenue, be profitable, drive growth and become sustainable organisations.
Although it is a small team, you will work alongside very skilled Strategists, Marketers, Analysts, Designers, Developers, Content Writers, and other B2B marketing specialists.
You will be responsible for the outcome our clients want: Leads > Revenue > Profitability > Growth > Sustainability. You will have the scope to create campaigns, come up with original ideas, delegate work, and oversee campaigns from start to finish.
NOTE … We appreciate that an individual will not necessarily have skills or experience in all of the below mentioned areas. However, the more of the below areas you are across, the higher your chances of securing this position.
Ideally, you have an undergraduate degree in Marketing, or a business related discipline, from a reputable university.
We highly regard and value industry certifications that you might have completed.
